Creation of the 3D Model from Geological Sections
The workflow for modeling is as follows:
1) In the Geological Sections frame, we create geological sections and:
- Define lines representing interfaces between layers
- Edit soil profiles
- Create interface points, which can be edited in the "Interface" frame.
2) In the Geological Model frame, we select the way of modeling.
- When modeling using a master borehole, the basic inputs for creating the subsoil model are the master borehole and the interfaces assigned in the table of layers.
- When modeling using defined interfaces, the model is generated only from the defined or created Interfaces — the only basic input is the table of layers.
After each model generation, it is appropriate to compare generated Output Sections of model with defined Geological Sections to check if the 3D model was created correctly.
